Skiing and other opportunities for recovery and rest in the winter in the Osogovo mountain
The Osogovo Ski Area is easily accessible from the Casa Rosa guest villa. Osogovo Ski Slope and Osogovo Fun Park are a 30-minute drive from Kyustendil and Casa Rosa Guest House. There, lovers of alpine skiing can test their abilities on the specially created for the Balkans Ski Slope Osogovo.
Osogovo ski slope has a high degree of difficulty and is suitable for advanced skiers. It is 910 meters long and 45 meters wide. The average slope is 22% at a displacement of 204 meters. The tow is an anchor type with a capacity of 720 people per hour. Its speed is 3.6 meters per second. The lower station of the ski lift at 1634 meters above sea level, and the upper at 1838. The length of the route is 913 meters.
Ruen Sport has its own artificial snow system, which makes skiing and snowboarding possible even with insufficient snow cover. The Osogovo ski slope is treated daily with snow-plowing equipment, and for fans of strong sensations there are enough lighting fixtures for night riding.
Another ski slope with a smaller slope was built nearby. It is 1300 meters long, passes through a picturesque pine forest and is suitable for beginners.
Those of you who do not have your own ski equipment can rent skis, boots and poles from the ski storage room. If necessary and a sufficient number of applicants, ski schools are organized.
